Outreach Ministries Leader: Sue Angell The Outreach Committee has many opportunities for involvement to benefit the community and beyond. Parishioners at Trinity Episcopal Church support all endeavors of various charities through direct donations, as well as through the gift of their time and talents.
Care kits for women and men are prepared for the Salvation Army and Family Service Association. Items collected for these kits include Travel size: bar of soap, shampoo, conditioner, combs, razor (men and women), tooth paste, tooth brush, deodorant, lotion and shaving cream. Please bring to office or place in the food baskets on Sunday's.
Family Service is in constant need of imperishable food items. Please drop off in Narthex on Sunday mornings or in Trinity Office.
Option House is a safe home for abused women with children. Backpacks and school supplies are always needed, along with cleaning supplies and other home necessities. Fall 2017- The shelter has ongoing needs for items to help women and children set up a new life after they leave the shelter: diapers (larger sizes), cleaning supplies, linens (especially waterproof mattress protectors) and clean gently used clothing for women and chilren. Gift cards to stores such as Walmart, Kmart or Stater's. Donations can sent to church office or sent directly to 813 N. D. St., #3, San Bernardino, CA 92401.
Parishioners help with needed donations such as stationary, stamps, magazines, books, T-shirts, and flip-flops. Late November, an Angel Tree is created to donate holiday clothes/ gifts for Christmas.
Shared Ministries is a ministry of a number of churches in Redlands that work to serves free meals to those the homeless and those in need. Meals are served on Saturday afternoons from 3:00 to 5:00 PM, generally at University Methodist Church. Trinity is responsible for providing meals on the second Saturday of each month.
Trinity Camp ( yearly in June) Over 100 years serving the Southern California area. Bring children together for faith, fellowship, fun for a week in the mountains. Director: Andrew Christopherson. Please see tab Camp or under Youth.
Youth Hope Parishioners donate, shop and prepare one meal each month for our local teens and young adults who are homeless. Our parish provides a hot meal for 50 people on the first Wedneday of each month.
